Book Baby Shower Details:
This is what Katelyn said about planning the party-“This fun and colorful book themed baby shower would be a great theme for the expected arrival of a baby boy or girl! Guests were asked to bring the Mommy to be a children’s book with an inscription in place of a card. This is a fun way to help build the baby’s library.
We also found lots of gently used children’s book classics at thrift stores to use as centerpieces. Fresh and colorful gerber daisy flowers were placed in mason jars on top of the book stacks. We made table runners and cloth napkins with fun printed fabrics. And also used baby links as napkin holders. Other decorations used were colorful felt ball garlands, a diaper cake, colorfully wrapped gifts, and a fabric garland.
Brunch was served, consisting of: orange juice, mimosas, cucumber mint water, quiche, breakfasts braids, yogurt parfaits, chocolate covered strawberries, and chocolate covered bacon.
We played a couple baby shower games, and gifted the winners with one of the Mommy-to-be’s favorite books.
The guests were given bookmarks and a tea bag as a party favor.”
